“Wave Breakers”

Participants start with mono ski in a total of two runs. On each run two passes (up and down the lake = 2 passes) are carried out.
Starting from the green gate the contestant begins to cross the wave by lifting the hand each time when the wave is fully crossed. For each correct wave crossing, one point is awarded.

In the event of a participant’s fall, the scoring on this pass is interrupted and resumes on the next pass.
Both rounds are carried out one after the other and between the rounds the contestant has a 1- minute rest at the end of the lake by the highway. The boat speed can be stated before the 1st pass of the 1st round by the participant or his/her representative to the boat’s driver and the judge in the boat. The selected speed of the diver does not affect the result and judging.

The total result consists of the sum of the points obtained on all 4 passes.
The youngest members of the group receive an additional 0.5 points for each year of youth compared to the oldest contestant.
